We are in Iowa now, waiting for our grandaughter to make her grand entrance into the world. Kristi's baby is due February 23rd and I can't wait to hold her. Kristi is planning to come home with us after the baby arrives. I am very happy about this decision. I'm so thankful for a nice big house to live in while John travels to raise more support. Also thankful for a supportive sending church that's waiting to welcome Kristi home. I will try to post soon with pictures :0)

Hi Jody,
i've enjoyed reading your blog... I stumbled upon it, because, i'm trying to find out as much as i can about Wrangell, before we actually move there... Do you think you could tell me about Wrangell? I have 6 boys, i am a home schooler, and wonder if there are other home schoolers out there, and are their places where children can play inside, on rainy days? I look forward to hearing from you, thank you, Paula
Hi Paula,
Have you moved to Wrangell yet? Sorry for not responding before now but we have been very busy lately and I have not had a lot of time for blogging. We love Wrangell. It is a beautiful place to live. There are some homeschoolers but I never really got to know them. I met some when Jonathan went for his standardized testing. We homeschooled through the Galena School system so that we would have some help in buying books and stuff. It also makes it possible for him to get an actual high school diploma when he gets done with school.
How old are your children? There is a rec center you can join so that your kids can go swimming and stuff. In Wrangell it rains A LOT so the kids are kinda just used to it. They play outside in the rain quite a bit. By the time we left last June Jonathan had come to the point that he would rather play in the rain than in the sunshine.
